# The Welsh Language Standards (No. 9) Regulations 2023, Part 2: INTERPRETING THE STANDARDS

The standards specified in Part 1 of this Schedule must be interpreted as follows.

For the purposes of standard 66, “financial year” means the body’s own financial year.

For the purposes of standard 67, “specified service” means services provided to the public in the exercise of the functions of water undertaker or sewerage undertaker for the whole or any part of Wales.
