(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order gives effect to recommendations made by West Suffolk Council to the Local Government Boundary Commission for England for the alteration of an electoral division boundary, following a community governance review undertaken by St Edmundsbury Borough Council. St Edmundsbury Borough Council was abolished and merged with Forest Heath District Council to form West Suffolk Council. West Suffolk Council is the direct successor authority of St Edmundsbury Borough Council.

That Order was made under powers including section 86 of the Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Act 2007 (c. 28); such Orders are not required to be made by statutory instrument. A hard copy of that Order is available for inspection at reasonable times at the offices of West Suffolk Council, West Suffolk House, Western Way, Bury St Edmunds IP33 3YU.
The changes to the electoral divisions described in article 2 apply in respect of elections to be held on and after the ordinary day of election of councillors in England in 2021.
