# The White Moss Landfill Order 2015, Paragraph 16: External lighting and control of artificial light emissions

Extent: E+W

(1) All floodlighting used as part of the authorised project (including mobile units) must be directed towards the ground to minimise light spillage from the application land and, except for in emergencies, must only be operational during the working hours specified in requirement 30.
(2) No additional permanent floodlighting may be installed on the application land until a written scheme for the management and mitigation of artificial light emissions has been submitted to and approved by the county planning authority.
