# The Wildlife and Natural Environment (Scotland) Act 2011 (Consequential Modifications) Order 2012, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into force 2nd July 2012
The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 42(1) and (2) of the Wildlife and Natural Environment (Scotland) Act 2011, and all other powers enabling them to do so.
In accordance with section 42(4) of that Act, a draft of this instrument has been laid before and approved by resolution of the Scottish Parliament.
