  "heading": "CALCULATION OF TEST FEES FOR PRIVATE USER FIXED LINKS",
  "text": "The amount to be included in the test fee for the purposes of article 5(2)(a) shall be the sum of the following:–\n(a) an amount per hour per test officer for time spent in conducting the test, and for travelling time (if any), calculated in accordance with the following table:–\nGrade of test officer\nAmount per hour\nGrade 7 or above\n£40.43\nSenior Professional & Technology Officer (SPTO)\n£34.01\nHigher Professional & Technology Officer (HPTO) or Higher Telecommunictions Technical Officer (HTTO)\n£29.46\nTelecommunications Technical Officer (TTO)\n£26.55\n;\n(b) any travelling costs reasonably incurred, in accordance with the following table:–\nMethod of transport\nBasis of charge\nRail\nPer test officer:\nSenior Professional & Technology Officer (SPTO) and above—first class\nOther grades—standard class\nWhere a round trip is undertaken, the ordinary return fare at the appropriate class shall be charged\nBus or underground\nPer test officer:\nthe fare actually paid\nTaxi\nPer taxi:\nthe fare actually paid\nPrivate or government vehicle\nPer vehicle:\n34.4p per complete mile\n;\nand\n(c) where a test involves a visit of 5 hours or more, each test officer’s subsistence costs, calculated in accordance with the following table:–\nAmount per period\nFor each period of time referred to in article 2(3)\nGrade\nInner London\nElsewhere\nEach 24 hour period and each overnight period\nGrade 7 and above\n£62.70\n£54.70\nEach 24 hour period and each overnight period\nOther grades\n£53.45\n£40.30\nPer day period\nAll grades\n£7.10\n£7.10\nPer half day period\nAll grades\n£3.25\n£3.25\n.",
