# The Wireless Telegraphy (Channel Island) Order 1969, Note: Explanatory note


This Order extends section 3 of the Post Office Act 1969 (transfer of the Postmaster General's functions with respect to wireless telegraphy to the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications) to the Channel Islands and amends consequentially two Orders in Council applying to wireless telegraphy there.
