Regulation 2 of the principal Regulations shall have effect subject to the following amendments, that is to say—

(a)

for the words “mean power” there shall be substituted the words “effective radiated power”, which words shall have the meaning assigned to them by BS 4727: Part 3: Group 07: 1971.

(b)

there shall be added to regulation 2 the following definition:

““frequency modulation” has the meaning assigned to it by BS 4727: Part 3: Group 01: 1971.”
