# The Wireless Telegraphy (Exemption) Regulations 1999, Paragraph 2


Prescribed apparatus in the Iridium and Globalstar Land Mobile-Satellite Services referred to in Part III shall cease operation at or within a distance determined by the Secretary of State for each relevant radioastronomy site for the duration of any radioastronomy observation.
