  "heading": "Equipment for the Detection of Movement or Alert",
  "text": "Wireless telegraphy apparatus designed or adapted to–\n(a) produce a radiated field and respond to a variation in that field as a result of any instrusion or movement within that field by other devices, objects or persons in order to detect or monitor the movement of such devices, objects or persons, so as to be capable of use on one or more of the frequencies within one of the frequency bands, and at a radiated level not exceeding the maximum for such frequencies or frequency bands, specified in the table below and subject to the following sub-paragraphs;\n(b) in category i, this service is due to be withdrawn by 31st December 2003: equipment cannot be type approved for use in this band after 31st December 1998;\n(c) category ii applications are for tagging and identification only;\n(d) category iv applications are for indoor use only;\n(e) category vii applications are for use in mobile applications only, and fixed installations are not permitted–\nCategory\nFrequencies or frequency band\nRadiated level\nChannel bandwidth\nMusic or speech permitted\nETSI standard\ni\n888.0–889.0 MHz\n500 mW erp\n25 kHz\nNo\n—\nii\n2445–2455 MHz\n500 mW eirp\n—\nNo\nI-ETS 300 440\niii\n10.577–10.597 GHz\n1 W eirp\n—\nNo\niv\n10.675–10.699 GHz\n1 W eirp\n—\nNo\nv\n13.4–14.0 GHz\n500 mW eirp\n—\nNo\nvi\n24.150–24.250 GHz\n2 W eirp\n—\nNo\nvii\n24.250–24.350 GHz\n2 W eirp\n—\nNo",
