# The Wireless Telegraphy (Jersey) Order 1998, Introduction: Introductory text

The Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty in Council
Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred on Her by subsection (3) of section 20 of the Wireless Telegraphy Act 1949 as that subsection has effect by virtue of section 9(2) of the Wireless Telegraphy Act 1998, and section 9(3) of the Wireless Telegraphy Act 1998, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:—
