  "text": "Sub-paragraphs 3(a) and (b) shall be deleted and replaced with the following:—\n“(3) (a) The sum referred to at the third column of Part I of the Schedule in respect of the issue of either—\n(i) a Band III Private Mobile Radio National Trunked Service Licence; or\n(ii) a Band III Private Mobile Radio Trunked Service Licence; or\n(iii) a National Public Radiotelephone Service Licence\nshall be payable only in respect of such licences which are issued after the date on which these Regulations come into force.\n(b) The sums referred to at the third column of Part I of the Schedule in respect of the renewal of any such licence named at sub-paragraph (3)(a) above shall be payable on the respective anniversaries of the date of issue of each such licence as specified in the said column. On each succeeding unspecified anniversary the sum to be paid shall be:\n(i) £500,000 in respect of a Band III Private Mobile Radio National Trunked Service Licence;\n(ii) £1000 for each channel in respect of a Band III Private Mobile Radio Trunked Service Licence;\n(iii) £5000 for each national channel in respect of a National Public Radio- telephone Service Licence.”",
