# The Wireless Telegraphy (Licence Charges) (Amendment) Regulations 1999, Introduction: Introductory text


This Statutory Instrument has been made in consequence of a defect in S.I. 1999/1774 and is being issued free of charge to all known recipients of that Statutory Instrument.

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 1 of the Wireless Telegraphy Act 1998 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, and having regard to the matters specified in section 2(2) of that Act, hereby makes the following Regulations—
