Regulation 6 Amendment of Part 2 of the Schedule

For paragraph 4 of Part 2 of the Schedule to the principal Regulations, substitute—

“4.

For the licence class Ship Portable Radio, applicants shall specify—

(a)

if authorisation of emergency position indicating radio beacon equipment or personal locator beacon equipment is sought and, if so, the type of beacon equipment for which authorisation is sought, its code which identifies its country of authorisation, its manufacturer, its serial number, and whether or not it operates using a global positioning system; and

(b)

whether digital selective calling is to be used by the station.”.
