# The Work in Compressed Air Regulations 1996, Regulation 3: Application


(1) These Regulations shall apply to and in relation to work in compressed air which is construction work within the meaning of regulation 2(1) of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 1994 and which is not excluded by regulation 3(2) of those Regulations.
(2) These Regulations shall not apply to any diving operation as construed in accordance with regulation 2(2)(a) of the Diving Operations at Work Regulations 1981.
