# The Working Time Regulations 1998 (Amendment) Regulations 2004, Regulation 2: Amendments to the Principal Regulations


After paragraph (6) of regulation 35 (restrictions on contracting out) of the Principal Regulations insert—
“(6A) A person shall be treated as being a qualified lawyer within paragraph (6)(a) if he is a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives employed by a solicitors' practice.”.
