# The Wrexham Gas Fired Generating Station Order 2017, Note: Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order authorises Wrexham Power Limited (referred to in this Order as the undertaker) to construct, operate and maintain a gas fired electricity generating station of up to 299 MWe. The Order would permit the undertaker to acquire, compulsorily or by agreement, rights in land and to use land for this purpose.
A copy of the Order plans and the book of reference mentioned in this Order and certified in accordance with article 35 of this Order (certification of plans etc.) may be inspected free of charge during working hours at Contact Wrexham, 16 Lord Street, Wrexham LL11 1LG
