Article 2

Rule 5 of the Youth Custody Centre Rules 1983^f1(which relates to remission of sentence) shall be amended by inserting in paragraph (1)—

(a)

after the word “exceeding” the words “,in the case of a sentence for a term of more than 12 months,” and

(b)

after the word “sentences)” the words, “and in the case of a sentence for a term not exceeding 12 months, one-half of that total”.
