# The Zoonoses (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2011, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into operation 1st January 2012
The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development exercise of the powers conferred on it by Articles 2(3), 5(1), 7(1) to (3), 12(1), 14, 19(h) and (i) and 60(1) of the Diseases of Animals (Northern Ireland) Order 1981 as amended and every other power enabling it in that behalf, makes the following Order.
