# The Zoonoses Order (Northern Ireland) 1997, Article 2: Interpretation


In this Order—
“animals” means bovine animals, sheep, goats, deer and all other ruminant animals; and
“the 1981 Order” means the Diseases of Animals (Northern Ireland) Order 1981.
