Regulation 2 Amendment of regulation 2

For regulation 2 (interpretation ) of the principal Regulations substitute—

In these Regulations—

• “the Act” means the Abortion Act 1967;

• “electronic communication” has the same meaning as in section 15 of the Electronic Communications Act 2000^f1;

• “practitioner” means a registered medical practitioner;

• “solicitor” means a person qualified to act as a solicitor as provided by section 1 of the Solicitors Act 1974.”^f2
