The Scottish Ministers make the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 11(8) and 16 of the Education (Additional Support for Learning) (Scotland) Act 2004f1 and all other powers enabling them to do so.

1Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Additional Support for Learning (Co-ordinated Support Plan and Dispute Resolution) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2010 and come into force on 15th August 2010.

2Amendment of the Additional Support for Learning (Co-ordinated Support Plan) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2010

(1)

The Additional Support for Learning (Co-ordinated Support Plan) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2010f1 are amended in accordance with the following paragraphs.

In regulation 1 (citation and commencement) for “16th August” substitute “14th November”.

(3)

In regulation 4 (insertion of new regulation 5A) omit “issue” where it first occurs and insert “inform the person who made the request of”.

3Amendment of the Additional Support for Learning Dispute Resolution (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2010

In regulation 1 (citation and commencement) of the Additional Support for Learning Dispute Resolution (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2010f1 for “16th August” substitute “14th November”.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Regulations)

Regulations 2(2) and 3 of these Regulations change the date on which the Additional Support for Learning (Co-ordinated Support Plan) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2010 and the Additional Support for Learning Dispute Resolution (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2010 come into force from 16th August 2010 to 14th November 2010.

Regulation 2(3) of these Regulations amends regulation 5A(1) as inserted by regulation 4 of the Additional Support for Learning (Co-ordinated Support Plan) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2005 (S.S.I. 2005/518) so as to ensure consistency of drafting.
