Section 2 of the Pet Animals Act 1951 (pets not to be sold in streets etc.) ceases to have effect.

In section 5 of that Act (offences and disqualifications), in subsection (3), after “1912,” insert “ or of any offence under any of sections 4, 5, 6(1) and (2), 7 to 9 and 11 of the Animal Welfare Act 2006, ”.
