Regulation 2 Amendment of the Antarctic (Guernsey) Regulations 1997

The Antarctic (Guernsey) Regulations 1997^f1 are amended as follows.

In regulation 2, after “the Antarctic Regulations 1995” insert “, as amended by the Antarctic (Amendment) Regulations 2008^f2 and the Antarctic (Amendment) Regulations 2017^f3,”.

In the Schedule—

(a)

in paragraph (2)(c), for “paragraph (6)” substitute “paragraph (7)” and in the text inserted by paragraph (2)(c), for “(7)” substitute “(8)”;

(b)

for paragraph (3) substitute—

In regulation 4(2) (applications for permits under sections 3, 4, 5 and 6 of the Act) and regulation 6(5) (comprehensive environmental evaluation) after “on the internet website of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office”^f4 insert “and in La Gazette Officielle or on the internet website of the States of Guernsey,””.
