Chapter Annex C Importation of animals and plants
United Kingdom
The following animals and plants may be imported into the Treaty Area in accordance with permits issued under Article IX (2) of these Agreed Measures:
- (a)
sledge dogs,
- (b)
domestic animals and plants,
- (c)
laboratory animals and plants F1including viruses, bacteria, yeasts and fungi.

Annex C: By S.I. 1988/586, art. 3 it is provided that Annex C to the Agreed Measures, set out in Schedule 2 to the Antarctic Treaty Act 1967, is amended by inserting in subparagraph (c), after the word “plants”, the words “including viruses, bacteria, yeasts and fungi”
