(1)
The person in custody shall be afforded the means and opportunity to make representations under regulation 6(2)(g).
(2)
Where a representation is made orally, the authorising officer must cause a written record of the representation to be made.
(3)
Where practicable, that written record must be read and signed by the person in custody.
