Paragraph 12 Amount of payment: reservists on FTRS commitmentsI1

This paragraph applies to an eligible person who is serving in the reserve forces on an FTRS commitment.

The amount payable under paragraph 8(1) is the lower of—

• where—

  • F is the person’s final relevant earnings,

  • Q is the number of years of redundancy qualifying service served by the person in their current commitment, and

  • R is the number of remaining years that the person had left to serve in their current commitment.
