(1)

The Secretary of State may make regulations entitling—

(a)

the Secretary of State to recover from any other person, or

(b)

any other person (including an inspector) to recover from the Secretary of State,

expenses, costs or losses incurred in, or in connection with, the exercise of an inspector’s functions.

(2)

Regulations under this section may confer jurisdiction on a court or tribunal.
