Section 140 Discharge of debtor to whom section 2(2) appliesI1

Where section 2(2) applies to a debtor, the debtor is discharged on the date which is 6 months after the date on which sequestration is awarded.

A debtor may, following discharge, apply to AiB for a certificate of discharge in the prescribed form.
