Section 44 Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)
This Act may be cited as the Births and Deaths Registration Act 1953.
(2)
This Act shall not extend to Scotland or to Northern Ireland.
(3)
ThisAct shall come into force on the thirtieth day of September, nineteen hundred and fifty–three.
