The Department of Agriculture and Rural Developmentf1 makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 2(2) of and paragraph 1Af2 of Schedule 2 to the European Communities Act 1972 f3 and Articles 5(1), 10(6), 12(1), 14, 19, 20, 44, 46(7A) and 60(1) of the Diseases of Animals (Northern Ireland) Order 1981f4.

Contents
1Citation and commencement
This Order may be cited as The Bluetongue (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2008 and comes into operation on 16th February 2008.
2Interpretation
The Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 1954f1 shall apply to this Order as it applies to an Act of the Northern Ireland Assembly.
3Amendment
Article 1 of the Bluetongue Order (Northern Ireland) 2008f1 is hereby amended by substituting “16th February 2008” for “22nd February 2008”.
