The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 20, 24(1)(b) and 29(1) of the Building (Scotland) Act 1959^f1 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations:

Explanatory note

These Regulations may be cited as the Building (Procedure) (Scotland) Amendment (No. 2) Regulations 1991 and shall come into force on 1st September 1991.

For Schedule 2 to the Building (Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 1981^f1 there shall be substituted the Schedule 2 set out in the Schedule to these Regulations.

The Building (Procedure) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 1988^f1 and The Building (Procedure) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 1990^f2 are hereby revoked.

These Regulations replace the scale of building control fees in the Building (Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 1981. The average increase is approximately 25%.
