Regulation 2 Interpretation

In these Regulations—

• “the 1984 Act” means the Building Act 1984;

• “the 2022 Act” means the Building Safety Act 2022;

• “chargeable function” means a function set out in regulation 3(2);

• “charging scheme” means a scheme in which the regulator sets out the charges to be recovered for or in connection with the performance of the chargeable functions;

• “the HRB Regulations” means the Building (Higher-Risk Buildings Procedures) (England) Regulations 2023^f1.
