Paragraph 33 I1

(1)

In subsection (2) of section 76 of the 1986 Act (summary financial statement for members and depositors)—

(a)

for the words “subsidiary undertakings or other associated bodies” there shall be substituted the words “ connected undertakings ”; and

(b)

for the words “subsidiary undertakings and other associated bodies” there shall be substituted the words “ connected undertakings ”.

(2)

In subsection (9)(a) of that section, for paragraph (a) there shall be substituted the following paragraph—

“(a)
any individual who for the first time subscribes for shares in the society, on his first subscribing for the shares, and”.
