RATING AND VALUATION, WALES

Coming into force 11th December 2003

The National Assembly for Wales makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred on the Secretary of State by sections 53(1), (2), (4) and (4A), 140(4) and 143(1), (3) and (4A) of the Local Government Finance Act 1988f1 and now vested in the National Assembly for Wales so far as exercisable in relation to Walesf2.

The powers of the Secretary of State under section 53(1), (2), (4) and (4A), 140(4) and 143(1), (3) and (4A) of the Local Government Finance Act 1988 were transferred to the National Assembly for Wales pursuant to article 2(2) of, and Schedule 1 to, the National Assembly for Wales (Transfer of Functions) Order 1999 (S.I. 1999/672).
