Section 11 Short title, citation, extent and commencement.

(1)

This Act may be cited as the Children and Young Persons (Amendment) Act 1952, and this Act and the Children and Young Persons Acts 1933 and 1938, may be cited together as the Children and Young Persons Acts 1933 to 1952.

(2)

This Act shall not extend to Scotland or Northern Ireland.

(3)

This Act shall come into operation on the first day of October, nineteen hundred and fifty-two.
