(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order amends the Civil Courts Order 1983 so as to—

(a)

close the County Courts at Alnwick, Blyth and Bridlington;

(b)

rename the County Court at Morpeth as the Morpeth and Berwick County Court; and

(c)

close the County Court at Berwick-upon-Tweed as a separate court (as it will become part of the new Morpeth and Berwick County Court).
