Article 30 Amendments to the Civil Procedure Rules 1998

In RSC Order 52, in rule 1(4), for “an order of committal may be made by a single judge of the Queen’s Bench Division” substitute—

• “an order of committal may be made—

  1. (a)

     on an application under section 88 of the Charities Act 1993^f1, by a single judge of the Chancery Division; and

  2. (b)

     in any other case, by a single judge of the Queen’s Bench Division”.
