I1(1)

The Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000 (c. 23) shall be amended as follows.

I2(2)

In section 26(6)(a) (surveillance carried out for detecting unlicensed TV use), for “section 1 of the Wireless Telegraphy Act 1949)” there shall be substituted “ Part 4 of the Communications Act 2003) ”.

(3)

In Part 1 of Schedule 1 (relevant public authorities for the purposes of sections 28 and 29 of that Act), after paragraph 23 there shall be inserted—

“23A

The Office of Communications.”
