Paragraph 161 European Economic Interest Grouping Regulations 1989 (S.I. 1989/638)

Regulation 2(1) of the European Economic Interest Grouping Regulations 1989 (interpretation) is amended as follows.

At the appropriate place insert—

““the Companies Acts” has the meaning given by section 2 of the Companies Act 2006; ”.

In the closing words, for “by section 744 of the 1985 Act” substitute “ for the purposes of the Companies Acts ”.
