The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 225(1), 701 and 744 of the Companies Act 1985f1, as extended by section 26(3) of the Welsh Language Act 1993f2, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations:

1985 c. 6. Section 225 was substituted by section 3 of the Companies Act 1989 (c. 40) and prospectively amended by regulation 3 of S.I. 1996/189.
