Section 11 (tenure of office) is amended as follows.

(2)

In subsection (1) omit “except the Lord Chancellor”.

(3)

After subsection (3) insert—

“(3A)

It is for the Lord Chancellor to recommend to Her Majesty the exercise of the power of removal under subsection (3).”

(4)

In subsection (9)(a) for “the President of the Family Division and the Vice-Chancellor,” substitute “ the President of the Queen's Bench Division, the President of the Family Division and the Chancellor of the High Court, ”.
