Section 127 (exercise of powers) is amended as follows.

In subsection (2)(a) for “Lord Chancellor” substitute “ Lord Chief Justice, or a judicial office holder (as defined in section 109(4) of the Constitutional Reform Act 2005) nominated by him, after consulting the Lord Chancellor ”.

(3)

In subsection (2)(h) after “consumer affairs” insert “ nominated by the Lord Chancellor ”.
