The Human Rights Act 1998 is amended as follows.

(2)

In section 4 (declaration of incompatibility) in subsection (5) for paragraph (a) substitute—

“(a)

the Supreme Court;”.

(3)

In section 5 (right of Crown to intervene) in subsections (4) and (5) for “House of Lords” in each case substitute “ Supreme Court ”.

(4)

In section 6 (acts of public authorities) omit subsection (4).
