Paragraph 2 Competent authorityI1
United Kingdom
The competent authority for the United Kingdom in respect of Northern Ireland for the purposes of the RAMS Regulation, as it applies to construction products, and of the EU Construction Products Regulation is—
(a)
the Secretary of State or an enforcement authority; and
(b)
such person as the Secretary of State thinks fit to authorise from time to time to be a United Kingdom competent authority, or to perform certain functions of a competent authority, in addition to or in substitution for the Secretary of State.
