Regulation 26 Commencement of proceedings
(1)
This regulation applies in respect of any offence under regulation 4(1) or (3).
(2)
In England and Wales a magistrates' court may try an information for such an offence if the information is laid within twelve months from the time when the offence is committed.

In Scotland summary proceedings for such an offence may be begun at any time within twelve months from the time when the offence is committed.
