This Order amends the Table of General Consular Fees in the Consular Fees Order 2012 (S.I. 2012/798 as amended by S.I. 2016/373).

Article 2(2) of this Order substitutes the set of fees in Fee 1 of the Table of General Consular Fees in the Consular Fees Order 2012. Three new fees are introduced: (1) a Standard next day service fee; (2) a Digital e-apostille service fee; and (3) an Urgent Service fee. As part of these changes the Premium Service fee has been removed. Two fees have also been increased, with the fees for the Standard service in the UK and the Overseas Service rising from £30 to £45 and £30 to £40, respectively.
