Article 1 Citation, commencement and extent

This Order may be cited as the Copyright and Performances (Application to Other Countries) (Amendment) Order 2026.

(2)

This Order comes into force on the day on which the UK-India Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement enters into force for the United Kingdom and Indiaf1.

(3)

This Order extends to England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

(4)

In this article “the UK-India Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement” means the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement between the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the Government of the Republic of India, signed in Buckinghamshire on 24 July 2025f2.
