Article 38

(1)

Foreign currency may only be lodged in court when:—

(i)

it is lodged under RSC Order 22, rule 1 in satisfaction of a claim for a debt or liquidated demand, and is in the currency in which the claim is made; or

(ii)

the court so directs or permits.

(2)

Foreign currency lodged in accordance with paragraph (1) shall be paid into court in the manner approved by the Accountant General.
