Amend section 28K (execution of search warrants issued to immigration officers) as follows.

(2)

For subsection (9)(a), substitute—

“(a)

if issued by a justice of the peace in England and Wales, to the designated officer for the local justice area in which the justice was acting when he issued the warrant;”.

(3)

In subsection (10), for “justices' chief executive” substitute “ designated officer ”.
