Article 7 Amendments to the Criminal Procedure Rules 2005I1

After rule 3.5(5) (The court’s case management powers), insert—

“(6)

If a party fails to comply with a rule or a direction, the court may—

(a)

fix, postpone, bring forward, extend, cancel or adjourn a hearing;

(b)

exercise its powers to make a costs order; and

(c)

impose such other sanction as may be appropriate.”.
